On 4^th to 6^th September 2018, the AAC industry held its 6^th International Conference in Potsdam, Germany. It was a well-attended event with a sell out number of 350 delegates. Over the two and a half days, there were 3 concurrent sessions with some 90 papers presented. The topics ranged from investigations into raw materials, to manufacture, design and innovative use of the material.

The market for AAC is expanding Globally and there were delegates present from some 40 counties from every Continent.  A number of papers were presented from the UK and also from other Members of the International Masonry Society.
