Abstract
This paper is an analyses of the influence of mortar strength, anchorage length and bar diameter on anchorage behaviour, based on the test results of 30 pull-out specimens. It presents various failure phases of anchor bars. It establishes a r – s ; characteristic curve and proposes an anchorage strength calculation formula by means of statistical regression, which provides further validation for anchorage length of joint bars of reinforced masonry structures as presented in the “Code for Design of Masonry Structures” (GB50003- 2001) [1].
