Abstract
A numerical analysis of complex stress state was provided on the basis of compression and shear tests of wall specimens. For this analysis, a software package MAFEM3D, was applied which used the finite element method. The numerical analysis was prepared for hetero- and homogenous material. In both cases the parameters of the boundary surface were determined in accompanying laboratory tests. The results of numerical compression and shear calculations were compared with the findings of laboratory experiments and proved a proper conformity, especially on strength in compression, deformation, cracking and the variability of non-dilatational strain angle.
