From the middle of the last century the use of masonry on structural applications had reduced in several parts of the world in contrast to the widespread increase of reinforced concrete construction. In the last 30 years, structural masonry has been in high demand for new projects on residential buildings in developing countries with low seismicity. Thus, there is increased interest in this material again. Assessing the proceedings of the main international masonry conferences last editions it is possible to identify the most researched topics, universities and countries most active in the field and several other interesting aspects. By assessing the proceedings of the main international masonry conferences last editions it is possible to identify the most researched topics, universities and countries most active in the field and several other interesting aspects. This paper aims to characterize the international scientific production on masonry published on the major events 7th IMC, 10th NAMC, 14th IB2MaC, 11th CMS, 8th IMC, 11th NAMC, 15th IB2MaC and the 12th CMS. A bibliometric analyses was conducted to quantitatively analyze these literatures. With the results of the analysis, we identified the research topics often discussed, authors and universities more active in publishing, the research strategies used in each work, and the quantification of bibliography types most referenced.
