Abstract
A large part of the Italian architectural heritage consists of stone masonry buildings. Recent interest in restoration has shown, despite the great number of models proposed and tests performed, a great lack of data about natural stone masonry properties. The test results presented in this paper concern the elastic and strength properties of full scale tuff masonry columns.
