Abstract
Tests on scaled brick masonry models were carried out to investigate the response of calcium silicate brick masonry under cyclic compressive loading. Envelope stress/strain curves, common point curves and stability point curves were obtained from various cyclic tests. A simple mathematical model using polynomial functions is presented for loading-unloading-reloading stress/strain hysteresis curves. Comparison between the experimental and computed stress/strain curves shows good correspondence.
