Abstract
The paper presents findings from a Partners in Technology project to assess the suitability and requirements of a new ISO and a new CEN standard for beam and block flooring. Two different floor systems were used for the test with two different types of infill units. Both types of floor system perform satisfactorily to the standards. The project found that although the concept behind the texts is valid, the standards require more detail.
