Abstract
In Part III of this paper, the craft of bricklaying is described together with the importance of its different elements. A distinction is made between those tasks that comprise the art and craft of bricklaying, which need skill, care and attention and supervision, those constructional tasks requiring only care and attention and supervision, and those techniques which require only supervision. The necessity to ensure that everyone, from supervisors to labourers, understands what is required is emphasised.
